Ribs at Mis Costillitas
With several locations dotted throughout Lima, this small chain of excellent restaurants offers some of the best ribs and sauces in town.
Regular or Baby Back ribs are available on the menu, with an ample selection of tasty and varied. Bbq, whisky, and brandy sauces are regular favorites, but those with a Latin twist such as Pisco, Rum, Maracuya sauces have made Mis Costillitas (my little ribs) famous, and are especially flavorsome.
Although not all restaurants are overly appealing from the outside, the interior is clean, comfortable and purposeful.

Directions
From Parque Kennedy head along Jose Pardo 5 blocks, turn right into Ellas Aguirre, walk up two block and you will see the restaurant located on the corner of the block. 10 minutes by foot, and 4 – 5 soles in taxi. Area is safe, but take care in the evening.

Our Verdict
Excellent no messing tender and tasty ribs, served with superb sauces that will make your mouth water. We regularly visit these restaurants because the food hits the mark, potions are big and the price is pretty good. If you are a meat lover then make sure you pop in one afternoon. This is not a fine dining experience, but if you like to get your fingers sticky then you will love the food here.
